I won’t be taking part in Black Friday discounting.
Instead, if you place an order with me between now and Sunday the 1st of December I will donate 10% of the value of your order to Feileacain (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland), the not for profit organisation that offers support to anyone affected by the death of a baby during pregnancy or shortly after pregnancy.
€50 could provide a Memory Box to a bereaved family to ensure they can make memories with their baby
€200 could fund their helpline for one month!
€150 could provide a facilitated Support Meeting for up to 30 bereaved parents
€300 could fund bereavement & befriending training for 20 volunteers
I’m sorry if you were waiting for a discount code or some kind of offer but this sits better with me than simply discounting because everyone else is doing it, I hope you understand.

Give Back Friday - Every Black Friday we choose a charity to support and this year we've chosen Cork Penny Dinners. As a small independent retailer we can't get behind Black Friday the way the big multiples do, instead we'll continue with our usual mantra of providing good service and value for money. Our sale rail will be be fully stocked up for the weekend too so you might be able to grab yourself a bargain but there will be no storewide discount. We'll give 10% of the days sales to Cork Penny Dinners. It's been a particularly cold start to the winter this year and they are doing a call out for kid' coats and sleeping bags too.
